The itel A80 is an entry-level 4G smartphone officially released in September 2024 as the direct successor to the itel A70. It features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 500 nits of brightness. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Powering the device is a Unisoc T603 chipset built on a 22nm process, with an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU and Mali-G52 GPU. It runs Android 14 (Go Edition) with itel OS 14. The phone is available in two RAM variants: 3GB or 4GB, both paired with 128GB of internal storage, and supports up to 8GB RAM via memory expansion. A microSD card slot is also present for storage expansion up to 256GB.
On the rear, the A80 includes a dual camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a QVGA AI lens. The front-facing camera is 8MP and supports features like Face Unlock, Face Beauty, and HDR. Rear video recording is capped at 1080p, while the front camera records at 720p.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. A 3.5mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner are also onboard. The device houses a 5000mAh non-removable battery.
The itel A80 has a glass front and plastic body with dual SIM support. It comes in Sandstone Black, Glacier White, and Wave Blue. Inside the box are the itel A80, a charging brick, and a USB cable.
