The itel P55 Plus is a slightly upgraded variant of the vanilla P55, launched in February 2024. It retains the same core features but improves on charging speed and offers more color options. The phone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, maintaining an 82.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the P55 Plus is the same 12nm Unisoc T606 chipset, paired with an octa-core CPU (2x Cortex-A75 and 6x Cortex-A55) and Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It runs Android 13 and is available in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Both variants support UFS 2.2 and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. A microSD card slot allows for storage expansion up to 256GB.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a QVGA depth sensor with features such as autofocus, dual LED flash, and digital zoom. Video recording maxes out at 1080p. The front-facing camera is an 8MP lens with support for HDR, Face Beauty, and Face Unlock, capable of recording at 720p.
Connectivity options include dual 4G SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. A 3.5mm audio jack and a bottom-placed loudspeaker are also present.
The standout feature of the P55 Plus is its faster 45W fast charging, paired with a 5000mAh non-removable battery. It has a glass front, plastic body, weighs 187 grams, and comes in color options like Royal Green, Galaxy Blue, and Meteor Purple.
