The Tecno Pop 2 Pro is positioned between the Tecno Pop 2 and Pop 2 Power models, offering improved specifications compared to the Pop 2 but with a smaller battery than the Pop 2 Power.It features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 480 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor paired with a Mali-400MP2 GPU. It includes 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is larger than the 8GB found in the Pop 2.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 oreo Go edition, optimized for entry-level hardware. The Tecno Pop 2 Pro has an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The front camera is also 8 megapixels, an upgrade over the 5-megapixel front camera on the other Pop 2 variants. For biometric security, it includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a feature shared with the Pop 2 Power.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 3G and 2G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0,and GPS with GLONASS. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio. The device is powered by a 3050mAh non-removable battery, which is larger than the 2500mAh battery in the Pop 2 but smaller than the 4000mAh battery in the Pop 2 Power.
The phone measures 149.76 x 72.8 x 9.35 mm and is available in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and a gradient finish combining purple and blue. The Tecno pop 2 Pro is priced at approximately $75.
