Teh Tecno Pova 6 Neo is a budget-oriented model within the Pova 6 series, designed with cost efficiency in mind. It features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 580 nits. This contrasts with the Pova 6 and Pova 6 Pro, which use AMOLED panels reaching up to 1300 nits in brightness.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. It runs on Android 14 with Tecno’s HiOS 14 skin.The Pova 6 Neo includes dual stereo speakers supporting Hi-Res audio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, FM radio, and an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Camera capabilities on the Pova 6 neo consist of a dual rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a secondary depth sensor. The front camera is an 8MP sensor, a reduction from the 32MP front camera found on the standard Pova 6. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted rather then under-display.
The battery capacity is 7000mAh, larger than the 6000mAh battery in the Pova 6. Though, fast charging is limited to 33W, compared to 70W on the Pova 6. the Pova 6 Neo provides a balance of specifications aimed at budget-conscious users, with some compromises in display technology, camera resolution, and charging speed relative to its higher-tier counterparts.
