The UMIDIGI G5 is the base model in the G5 series adn differs from the G5 Mecha, which features a rugged design. This version has a plastic chassis and is equipped with the Unisoc Tiger T606 processor, the same chipset found in the Mecha model. The device includes a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. It is configured with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera hardware, the UMIDIGI G5 has a dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor is a 50-megapixel unit, paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor to assist with portrait effects. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.The phone runs on Android 13 out of the box, providing the latest software experience from Google.
