Xiaomi Mi 9
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is a high-end smartphone within Xiaomi’s Mi series lineup. It features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and achieves a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 90.7%. The device is about 40% narrower than its predecessor, the Mi 8.Under the hood,the Mi 9 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor built on a 7nm process.It includes the Adreno 640 GPU for graphics processing. The phone supports up to 8GB of RAM and offers storage options ranging from 64GB to 128GB. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 interface pre-installed.
The camera system on the Mi 9 consists of three rear sensors and one front sensor. The primary rear camera is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor featuring Laser Autofocus, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), Contrast Detection Autofocus (CAF), and a closed-loop Voice Coil Motor (VCM) for enhanced focusing speed and accuracy. The secondary rear camera is a 12-megapixel Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto lens that supports 2x optical zoom. The third rear sensor is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 with a 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. The front-facing camera is a 20-megapixel sensor with AI capabilities.
The Mi 9 incorporates an optical in-display fingerprint sensor,which uses a 5μm macro camera for biometric authentication,providing higher precision compared to conventional capacitive sensors. The rear panel employs nano-level laser engraving holographic technology combined with dual-layer nano coating, creating color effects when exposed to light. it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
