The ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro Outcast Edition is a variant of the standard nubia Z40 Pro with distinct external design elements and updated packaging. Internally, it retains the core hardware specifications of the original model. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, consistent with the standard version.Camera hardware remains unchanged from the base model. The rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. On the front, a 16-megapixel selfie camera is positioned within a notch on the display.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery. Charging options include an 80W wired fast charger, as found in the standard model, and an additional 15W magnetic wireless charger.The Outcast Edition is available in an Interstellar Black color variant with orange accents.
The device runs on the Android operating system with Nubia’s custom user interface.Standard sensors such as an in-display fingerprint scanner,accelerometer,gyroscope,proximity sensor,and compass are included. The Outcast edition is priced at approximately $819 USD. This model is also known as nubia 努比亚 Z40 Pro 一人之下限定版 in the Chinese market.
