The iTel P38 succeeds the iTel P37 released in 2021. It features a redesigned chassis and a slightly larger display. The screen measures 6.6 inches diagonally, using an IPS panel with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. A dewdrop notch houses the front camera at the top center of the display.
Internally, the device is powered by a Spreadtrum SC7731E processor with four cores running at 1.3 GHz. This chipset includes a Mali T820 MP1 GPU. The phone is equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. it does not support 4G LTE connectivity; though, the iTel P38 Pro variant includes 4G support.
The rear camera setup consists of an 8-megapixel primary sensor paired with an AI-assisted depth sensor. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera located within the notch for selfies and video calls.
