The Infinix Smart 6 Plus (New Edition) model X6823C is distinct from the earlier Smart 6 Plus (X6511G) released in Nigeria in March 2022. This updated version features a larger display and an upgraded processor, along with the latest Android operating system. The device has a 6.82-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. The front panel includes a dewdrop notch housing the selfie camera.

Internally, the Smart 6 Plus (New Edition) is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor, clocked at 2.0 GHz, paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with either 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM, both of which support Memory Fusion technology to extend virtual memory. Storage is fixed at 64 GB of internal space.

The rear camera setup consists of an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary QVGA AI depth sensor. The front-facing camera has a 5-megapixel sensor. both the front and rear cameras are supported by dual LED flash units.
