Cubot P50
The Cubot P50 succeeds the Cubot P40 released in 2020. The primary upgrade is the processor, which is now an octa-core chipset replacing the previous quad-core CPU. The display remains a 6.2-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. A dewdrop notch at the top centre houses the front-facing camera.
Internally, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
The rear camera setup consists of three sensors: a 12-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 0.3-megapixel depth sensor. The rear module also features a dual LED flash. On the front, ther is a single 20-megapixel camera for selfies.
The Cubot P50 does not include a fingerprint sensor. Instead, it supports facial recognition for device unlocking. It also supports dual 4G SIM cards. the phone runs on Android 11 out of the box. Available color options include Blue, Green, and Black.Additional specifications include standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is powered by a 4000mAh battery. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
