UMiDIGI Bison GT2 succeeds the original Bison GT released in 2021. The device upgrades the processor from a MediaTek Helio G95 too a helio G96 and supports a 90Hz refresh rate on its display. It holds IP68 and IP69K certifications for water and dust resistance and meets MIL-STD-810G military standards for durability.The phone features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a dot-notch design for the front camera. The Helio G96 chipset is paired with a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage,which can be expanded via microSD.
On the rear, the Bison GT2 has a triple-camera setup. The primary sensor is 64 megapixels with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 117-degree field of view. The third camera is a 5-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, capable of close-up shots at 2.5cm. The rear cameras are supported by a dual LED flash. The front-facing camera is a 24-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The device is powered by a 6150mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It runs on Android 11 out of the box.The standard Bison GT2 is available in Storm Gray, while the Bison GT2 Pro variant offers enhanced build materials, increased storage options, and a Hack Black color option.
