The Blackview A55 is an entry-level smartphone released in December 2021. It features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen includes a notch at the top that houses the front-facing camera.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761V) processor,which has a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz. Graphics are handled by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
On the rear, the Blackview A55 has a triple-sensor camera module, but only one sensor is active. This primary rear camera uses a Sony IMX319 8-megapixel sensor paired with a single LEAD flash. The front camera is a 5-megapixel sensor designed for selfies.
The phone supports dual Nano-SIM cards and 4G LTE connectivity.It does not include a fingerprint scanner. The battery capacity is 4780mAh, which supports standard charging. The device runs on Android 11 with Blackview’s custom Doke OS 2.1 interface pre-installed.Additional features include standard sensors such as an accelerometer and proximity sensor. The Blackview A55 is positioned as a budget device with basic specifications suitable for everyday tasks.
