Tecno Camon 18P

The tecno Camon 18P succeeds the Camon 17P and serves as an enhanced version of the standard Camon 18. Both the Camon 18 and 18P share the same display specifications, but the 18P features a more powerful processor and includes a telephoto camera lens.

The device has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen incorporates a centrally positioned punch-hole that houses a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

On the rear, the Camon 18P is equipped with a triple camera setup. The primary sensor is a 48-megapixel lens with an f/1.8 aperture and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). It is accompanied by a 13-megapixel telephoto lens offering 1.7x optical zoom and up too 30x digital zoom. The third sensor is a 2-megapixel depth camera used for portrait effects.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor, clocked at 2.05 GHz, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage,which can be expanded by up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The device runs on Android 11 with Tecno’s HiOS 8.0 custom interface.It is backed by a 5000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. Available color options are Dusk Gray, Ceramic White, and Iris Purple.
