Tecno Spark 8
The Tecno Spark 8 is the newest model in the spark series, succeeding the Spark 7 released in april 2021. The device features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a dewdrop notch design. Compared to its predecessor, the Spark 8 has a redesigned rear panel and a slightly smaller battery capacity.
Under the hood, the Spark 8 is equipped with the mediatek Helio A25 (MT6762V/WD) processor. This chipset includes an octa-core CPU configuration with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5 GHz. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The camera setup on the Spark 8 consists of a dual rear camera system. The primary sensor is a 16-megapixel lens, accompanied by a secondary AI depth sensor. The rear camera module also includes a quad-LED flash. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera paired with a dual LED flash.
For biometric security, the phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the camera module.The device runs on Android 11 with Tecno’s HiOS 7.6 user interface. Powering the phone is a 5000mAh battery, which supports charging via a 5V/2A charger included in the package.
