Samsung Galaxy M12
The Samsung Galaxy M12 succeeds the Galaxy M11 released the previous year. This model features a 6.5-inch PLS IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a dewdrop notch for the front camera. The screen size is marginally larger compared to its predecessor.
The device is powered by the Samsung Exynos 850 chipset, built on a 14nm process. This octa-core processor runs at a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz and is paired with the Mali-G52 GPU. The Galaxy M12 includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.
On the rear, the phone has a quad-camera setup. The primary sensor is 48 megapixels, accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.An LED flash is positioned alongside the cameras. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor located within the notch.
The Galaxy M12 shares several features with the Galaxy A12, including a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and options for single or dual SIM cards.The battery capacity is 6000mAh, supporting 15W fast charging. the device runs on Android 10 out of the box.
Additional specifications include standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass. The phone’s dimensions and weight are consistent with other models in the M series.
