The Honor 30i is a mid-range smartphone developed by Huawei. It shares many specifications with the Huawei Y8P but includes 20W fast charging, which the Y8P lacks. The device features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a U-shaped notch at the top center of the screen.
Under the hood, the Honor 30i is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710F chipset, built on a 12nm process. The octa-core CPU runs at up to 2.2 GHz and is paired with a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256 GB. It runs on Huawei’s EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 and includes Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
The rear camera setup consists of three sensors: a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture,housed within the display notch.
The Honor 30i supports a hybrid dual SIM configuration with 4G LTE on both slots. it includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The device is equipped with a 4000mAh battery and supports 20W fast charging via USB-C. Available colour options include Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black. Additional sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass.
