the Cricket Icon 5 succeeds the Icon 4, which was released in october 2022. It retains a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. It includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card.
The Icon 5 features a 4000mAh non-removable battery. It supports 4G LTE connectivity and runs Android 13 out of the box. The phone is Hearing Aid compatible (HAC), meeting relevant accessibility standards.
On the camera front, the device has a single 13-megapixel rear sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel sensor designed for basic selfies and video calls. The rear design has been updated compared to the Icon 4, though the overall form factor remains similar.
