Blackview A96
The Blackview A96 succeeds the A95 model released in 2022. The device features a redesigned exterior with rounded edges and a dotted notch, resembling the form factor of an Apple iPhone. The overall design departs from the previous model’s sharper contours.The A96 is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.It is indeed powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, an octa-core chipset designed for mid-range smartphones. The device includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card.
On the rear, the phone has a triple-camera setup. The primary sensor is a 48-megapixel Samsung GM2. This is accompanied by two additional cameras, which serve depth and macro functions.The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor intended for selfies and video calls.
Audio output is managed through dual stereo speakers, which have been tuned by Harman Kardon. The device houses a 4380mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 with Blackview’s Doke OS 3.1 interface pre-installed.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The Blackview A96 is available in two color variants: Provence Purple and Obsidian Black.
