VSmart Star 3 succeeds the original VSmart Star released in 2019. It features a larger display and an upgraded battery, along with a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The device has a 6.09-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display includes a U-shaped notch at the top, which houses the front-facing camera.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor,a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz,paired with an Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. This model is among the first to use the Snapdragon 215 chipset.
For photography,the vsmart Star 3 has a dual rear camera setup consisting of an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The main camera supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and is accompanied by a single LED flash. The aperture size is f/2.0. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera intended for selfies and video calls.
Security features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition (FaceID). The device supports dual 4G SIM cards.
