Gionee G6
The Gionee G6 features a design similar to the previously released Gionee Steel 5. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The screen includes a waterdrop notch that houses the front-facing camera sensor. The device is equipped with a large battery capacity, which is a key aspect of its specification.
Under the hood, the Gionee G6 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763) octa-core processor, clocked at 2.0 GHz. The graphics processing unit is the Mali-G71 MP2. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The camera setup on the Gionee G6 consists of a dual rear camera system. The primary sensor is 12 megapixels with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/2.0 aperture. The secondary sensor is 2 megapixels and supports AI features. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p video and supporting AI-based face recognition.
The device does not include a fingerprint scanner but supports face unlock through AI faceID. It has dual SIM slots with 4G VoLTE support on both SIMs. Connectivity options include a USB type-C port.
