The Samsung Galaxy A71 was introduced alongside the Galaxy A51 as its higher-end counterpart. It succeeds the Galaxy A70,which was released earlier in the same year. The Galaxy A71 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The device is powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 730 octa-core processor, clocked at 2.2 GHz, paired with the Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM adn 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The phone supports either single or dual SIM configurations and includes an under-display optical fingerprint sensor.
The rear camera setup consists of four sensors: a 64 MP primary wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, a 5 MP macro lens, and a 5 MP depth sensor. The main camera supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and is accompanied by an LED flash. On the front,the Galaxy A71 has a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture,housed within the display’s punch-hole.
The device is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 interface at launch. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-fi 802.11ac, GPS, NFC, and various sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass. The phone measures 163.6 x 76 x 7.7 mm and weighs 179 grams.
