Flare S8
The Flare S8 is a mid-range smartphone from Cherry Mobile, released in the Philippines as the successor to the Flare S7.It features a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The screen includes a waterdrop notch that houses the front camera sensor.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763) octa-core processor, clocked at 2.0 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
The Flare S8 has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is a single 13-megapixel sensor located within the notch. The rear camera is supported by a single LED flash,while the front camera does not have a dedicated flash.
Additional features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual SIM card slots, both supporting 4G LTE with VoLTE functionality. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Power is supplied by a 2800mAh non-removable battery. Other specifications include standard sensors such as accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light sensors.
