VSmart Star
The VSmart Star is an entry-level smartphone released in Vietnam, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor. It features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels adn a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen includes a U-shaped notch at the top for the front camera.
Powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 215 CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, the device integrates an Adreno 308 GPU.It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. This model is among the first to utilize the Snapdragon 215 chipset.
The rear camera setup consists of an 8-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The main camera supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF), has an f/2.0 aperture, and includes a single LED flash. The front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor designed for selfies and video calls.
The VSmart Star lacks a fingerprint sensor but supports facial recognition for device unlocking. It includes dual SIM slots with 4G LTE connectivity. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery and supports fast charging. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
