The Oppo K5 is a mid-range smartphone from Oppo Mobile. It shares similarities with the Realme X2 and uses the same processor found in the standard Reno 2 model. The device features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. A waterdrop notch at the top of the screen houses the front-facing camera.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset,built on an 8nm process.This octa-core processor runs at up to 2.2 GHz and is paired with the Adreno 618 GPU.The Oppo K5 comes with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB.Storage can be expanded by up to 256 GB via a microSD card slot.
On the rear, the device has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera module includes a single LED flash. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel front camera.
Security features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI-based facial recognition. the phone supports dual nano-SIM cards with 4G LTE connectivity on both slots. It is equipped with a 4000mAh battery and supports 30W VOOC fast charging. The Oppo K5 runs ColorOS 6 based on android 9 Pie at launch, with an update to Android 10 planned.
