Samsung Galaxy A80
Teh Samsung Galaxy A80 is a high-end model within the Galaxy A-series.It is indeed the most expensive device in this lineup. Key features include a motorized pop-up rotating camera module and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an 85.4% screen-to-body ratio. Samsung eliminated the front-facing camera by using a motorized mechanism that rotates the rear camera to the front for selfies. This design allows for a full-screen experiance without a notch or punch hole.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A80 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset, an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz. It includes the Adreno 618 GPU for graphics processing. The device comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which is not expandable via microSD card.
The camera system consists of three sensors: a 48 MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) 3D depth sensor. The camera supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and is accompanied by a single LED flash. This setup is used for both rear and front photography through the rotating mechanism.
The galaxy A80 is equipped with a 3,700 mAh battery,which is smaller than the 4,500 mAh battery found in the Galaxy A70. It supports 25W fast charging via USB Type-C. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung’s One UI skin. Additional sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass.
