The HiSense U30 is a smartphone released in 2019, notable for several firsts within the HiSense lineup. It is the company’s initial device running Android 9.0 Pie and the first to feature a 48-megapixel main camera. Additionally, it incorporates an Infinity-O display cut-out, resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 84.83%.
The device is equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel that includes the Infinity-O cut-out for the front camera. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 system-on-chip, paired with an Adreno 612 GPU. Memory configurations include options for 6GB or 8GB of RAM, while internal storage is available in 64GB and 128GB variants.
The rear camera setup consists of a 48-megapixel Samsung S5KGM1 sensor with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/2.0 aperture. The camera supports panoramic shots and scene recognition modes. A secondary 5-megapixel sensor is included for portrait photography. the camera system also integrates AI-based features such as steady handheld shooting and night photography enhancements. On the front, the device has a 21-megapixel camera with AI beautify, AI portrait capabilities, and AI face unlock functionality.
Additional hardware features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual Nano-SIM card slots with 4G VoLTE support. The HiSense U30 is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 technology. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie,customized with HiSense’s Vision UI 6.0.
