The iTel P40 Plus is an upgraded model compared to the standard iTel P40. Both devices use the same MediaTek Helio G25 processor. However,the P40 Plus features a larger 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, compared to the smaller screen on the P40. The P40 Plus also includes a 7000mAh battery,which is larger than the 6000mAh battery found in the P40.
This model is the frist iTel phone to incorporate a hole-punch front camera design.The front camera is a 5MP sensor located within the display cutout. On the rear,the P40 Plus has a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The device supports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
The P40 Plus comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. It runs on Android 12 out of the box, providing access to the latest features and security updates. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Additional sensors on the device include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. The phone supports dual SIM functionality and uses a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. the iTel P40 Plus offers a larger display and battery capacity while maintaining the same processor as the base model.
