Tecno has progressively improved the Camon series since the initial Camon C5 model. Each new release has generally attracted more users than its predecessor.the latest additions, the Tecno Camon 11 and the Camon 11 Pro, were officially announced in November.Prior to the launch, there was considerable anticipation among users seeking an upgrade from older Camon devices. Speculation about the new model’s name and features circulated online. When the Camon 11 was unveiled, it met expectations with updated specifications.the Tecno Camon 11 features a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by 2.5D curved glass and is housed in a body smaller than previous models. The rear camera setup includes dual sensors: a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and quad-LED flash, paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera is a 16-megapixel unit with an f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash, supported by AI technology for enhanced image processing.
Under the hood, the Camon 11 is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 MT6761 processor, a 12nm quad-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, coupled with a PowerVR GE8300 GPU. The device includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs on HiOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Additional features include dual SIM support (nano + nano or microSD), a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dual 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS with GLONASS. The phone is equipped with a 3750mAh battery.
