The Tecno Camon 20 4G succeeds the Camon 19 model released the previous year. It features a slightly smaller display, measuring 6.67 inches compared to the 6.8-inch screen on the Camon 19. The device runs on Android 13 with HiOS 13, an update from the earlier Android 12 version. Memory and storage have been enhanced, with the Camon 20 offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The charging system has also been upgraded to support 33W fast charging, replacing the 18W charger used in the predecessor.
The processor remains the MediaTek Helio G85, an octa-core chipset designed for mid-range smartphones. The camera setup on the rear consists of three lenses, with the main sensor maintaining a 64-megapixel resolution. The front-facing camera has been improved to a 32-megapixel sensor, enhancing selfie image quality. The device includes standard sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
The Tecno Camon 20 4G is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, supporting the faster 33W charging capability. The display is an IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The phone also supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security.the Camon 20 4G maintains the core hardware of its predecessor while introducing incremental improvements in software, charging speed, and front camera resolution.
