Apple iPhone 15 Plus
The Apple iPhone 15 Plus succeeds the iPhone 14 Plus and serves as the larger variant of the standard iPhone 15. It shares the same design and internal specifications as the iPhone 15 but features a 6.7-inch display, compared to the 6.1-inch screen on the iPhone 15.
The iPhone 15 Plus introduces Apple’s Dynamic Island, which was absent on the iPhone 14 Plus. The device also improves the screen-to-body ratio and increases peak brightness to 2000 nits, up from 1200 nits on the previous model.
Under the hood, the iPhone 15 Plus is equipped with the A16 bionic chip, built on a 4nm process, and runs iOS 17 out of the box. This is an upgrade from the iPhone 14 Plus, which used the A15 Bionic chip based on a 5nm process and shipped with iOS 16. Both chips support 5G connectivity.
The rear camera setup remains dual-lens, but the primary sensor has been upgraded to 48 megapixels with an f/1.6 aperture, replacing the 12-megapixel sensor found on the iPhone 14 Plus. The secondary camera continues to support ultra-wide photography.
Apple has replaced the Lightning port with a USB Type-C 2.0 connector on the iPhone 15 Plus,which also supports displayport output. Other specifications include 6GB of RAM,storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB,a 4,862mAh battery,and sensors such as Face ID,accelerometer,gyroscope,proximity sensor,and barometer.
