The Cricket Ovation 3 is the successor to the Ovation 2 released in 2021. Manufactured and distributed by Cricket Wireless in the United States, the device features a 6.82-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The screen includes a dewdrop notch housing the front camera. The device is priced at approximately $119 in the US market.
Internally, the ovation 3 is equipped with a MediaTek helio G25 processor, an octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.0 GHz.It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 12 out of the box,providing a recent version of the operating system.The rear camera setup consists of three sensors: a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An LED flash is positioned alongside the cameras. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor located within the notch.
Additional features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security and Bluetooth 5.2 support for wireless connectivity. The device supports 4G LTE networks but does not include 5G capability. The display is protected by Dragontrail Pro glass and operates at a 60Hz refresh rate. Power is supplied by a 4000mAh battery, which supports standard charging.
