Gionee S8s
The gionee S8s is a midrange smartphone featuring a 5.86-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and a brightness level of 500 nits. It is indeed the first Gionee device to incorporate a notch display cut-out, which houses the front-facing camera, ambient light sensors, and speaker grill. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 82.7%, with minimal bezels surrounding the display. The back cover has a 3D glass finish.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. Graphics are managed by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It includes 3GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The Gionee S8s runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
camera capabilities include a dual rear setup with 13MP and 5MP sensors, an f/2.0 aperture, single LED flash, HDR, and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is an 8MP sensor with a 1.8µm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, and a front flash for low-light conditions.
Security features consist of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI-based face unlock. The phone supports dual Nano-SIM cards with 4G LTE connectivity on both slots. Additional connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS. The device does not include NFC or infrared sensors. Power is supplied by a 3000mAh battery.
