The Honor Play 3e is a midrange Android smartphone developed by Huawei. It serves as a more affordable choice to the Honor Play 3, wich was released earlier. The device features a plastic chassis with a four-sided curved back panel. The rear design includes a combination of a smooth strip and a finely striped texture, resembling the design approach used in the Huawei Honor Play 8A.
The rear camera setup consists of a single 13-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens and HDR support. The camera module is positioned within the smooth strip area, accompanied by an LED flash and branding elements. On the front, the phone has a 5.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.The Honor logo is placed below the screen.
under the hood, the Honor Play 3e is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762R) octa-core processor, clocked at 2.0 GHz. Graphics are handled by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device is available with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot supporting up to 512GB.
The phone runs EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie. it includes a triple-slot tray that accommodates two SIM cards and one microSD card simultaneously. The battery capacity is 3020mAh.
