The Honour Play 8 is a midrange Android smartphone developed by Huawei. It features a plastic chassis with a four-sided curved backplate. The rear design includes a combination of a smooth strip and a finely striped texture, resembling the Huawei Honor Play 8A. The smooth section houses a single 13-megapixel rear camera, accompanied by an LED flash, the “13 Megapixel” label, and the honor logo. The rear camera uses an f/1.8 aperture lens and supports HDR imaging.The front of the device has a 5.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, resulting in an 19:9 aspect ratio. The Honor branding is positioned below the screen. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) processor, which is a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz. Graphics are handled by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage,which can be expanded via a microSD card up too 512GB.
The Honor Play 8 runs on EMUI 9, based on Android 9 Pie. It supports dual SIM functionality through a triple-slot tray, allowing two nano-SIM cards and one microSD card simultaneously. The battery capacity is 3050mAh, providing standard usage endurance. Available color options include purple and black.
