The Huawei Nova Y60 is an entry-level smartphone released in South Africa in August 2021. It features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen includes a waterdrop notch housing an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.3 GHz, paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 512GB.

On the rear, the Nova Y60 has a triple camera setup. The primary sensor is a 13-megapixel lens with an f/1.8 aperture. It is indeed accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear cameras are supported by a single LED flash.

For security, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports facial recognition. It operates on Android 10 but does not include Google Mobile Services (GMS) by default.
