The Huawei Y8P is an upgraded version of the Huawei Y7P released earlier in 2020. Both models use the same processor, but the Y8P includes several enhancements such as an AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a larger front camera, and a USB Type-C port.
The device features a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a U-shaped notch housing the front camera. It is indeed powered by the hisilicon Kirin 710F chipset, an octa-core processor built on a 12nm process, clocked at 2.2 GHz. The GPU is a Mali-G51. The phone comes with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256 GB.
On the rear, the Y8P has a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, positioned within the display notch.
The phone supports a hybrid dual SIM configuration with 4G LTE connectivity on both SIM slots. It includes an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric security.The device is available in Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black finishes. It is indeed equipped with a 4000mAh battery and runs EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10.
