The Infinix smart 8 succeeds the Smart 7 in the Smart series. It shares design elements with the Tecno POP 8, including a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole front camera. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 (Tiger T606) octa-core processor paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. It is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card.
The Smart 8 runs on Android 13 with Infinix’s XOS 13 custom interface. It includes a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a QVGA AI depth sensor. the rear cameras are supported by a ring LED flash. On the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera housed in the punch-hole cutout.
Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging and reverse charging capabilities.The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.Sensors on board include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
The Infinix Smart 8 is available in four color variants: Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Crystal Green, and Galaxy White.The combination of hardware and software specifications positions the device as an entry-level smartphone with moderate performance and standard features.
