The Infinix Zero 6 Pro is the premium variant of the Infinix Zero series, announced recently in Kenya. It succeeds the Infinix Zero 5 Pro from 2018 and shares many similarities with the standard Infinix Zero 6 model. The primary distinction between the two Zero 6 models is the internal storage capacity, with the Pro version offering 128GB compared to 64GB on the standard model.
The device features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, though the exact version is unspecified. The display includes a notch housing the front camera, LED flash, and ambient light sensor.
The Infinix Zero 6 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor built on a 14nm process, paired with an Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, with an expected update to Android 9.0 Pie.
Camera capabilities include a dual rear setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing and AI features such as scene recognition and bokeh effects. The front camera is a 20-megapixel sensor accompanied by an LED flash,supporting AI-based functions like HDR+,scene mode,face beautification,and face ID.
Additional features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual Nano-SIM slots with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, and a non-removable 3650mAh lithium-ion battery. The device’s design incorporates a glass finish, contributing to its overall build quality.
