The itel P55T is the fourth entry in the P55 series and closely mirrors the base P55 4G model. However, its standout feature is a larger 6000mAh battery, offering extended usage time compared to the 5000mAh capacity on the other P55 variants. It also supports 18W fast charging, giving it a moderate charging boost within the affordable segment.
The phone is equipped with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display, running at 720 x 1612 pixels resolution and supporting a 90Hz refresh rate. It features a glass front and plastic back, weighs 202 grams, and measures 9.3mm thick—heavier and bulkier due to the increased battery.
Powering the P55T is the same Unisoc T606 chipset as seen in the rest of the series, built on a 12nm process. The CPU configuration includes two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, supported by a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It runs Android 13 out of the box and comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The memory can be virtually expanded up to 8GB, and storage is expandable via microSD up to 256GB.
On the camera side, the rear setup features a 50MP main shooter and a secondary QVGA AI depth sensor, capable of 1080p video recording. The front-facing camera is an 8MP lens, supporting HDR, Face Beauty, and Face Unlock.
Other features include dual 4G SIM slots, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a bottom-firing loudspeaker. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is included for security. The P55T comes in three finishes: Astral Gold, Astral Purple, and Astral Black; and is packaged with a charging brick and USB cable.
