The iTel S17 succeeds the iTel S16, which was released in 2020. This model features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The screen retains a dewdrop notch design that houses the front-facing camera.
The device is equipped with a spreadtrum SC7731E processor, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, paired with an ARM Mali T820 MP1 GPU. It includes 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card.On the rear, the iTel S17 has a triple camera setup consisting of an 8 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor, and an AI sensor. The front camera is an 8 MP sensor located within the notch.
Additional features include a fingerprint scanner positioned on the back of the device. The phone supports dual SIM functionality with 3G connectivity on both slots. The battery capacity has been increased to 5000 mAh, compared to the 4000 mAh battery in the previous model. The operating system is Android 11 (Go edition), optimized for entry-level hardware.
