Leagoo S8 Technical Overview

The Leagoo S8 is equipped with a 6.18-inch IPS LCD display featuring a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, providing resistance against scratches and minor impacts. The device runs on a MediaTek Helio P40 processor, an octa-core chipset clocked up to 2.0 GHz, paired with 6 GB of RAM. Internal storage is 64 GB, expandable via microSD card up to 256 GB.

For photography, the Leagoo S8 includes a dual rear camera setup with a 16 MP primary sensor and a 5 MP secondary depth sensor. The front camera is a 13 MP sensor designed for selfies and video calls. The phone supports 4G LTE connectivity and includes standard sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and a fingerprint scanner located on the rear panel.

The device operates on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, with a 3,300 mAh non-removable battery. Charging is facilitated through a microUSB 2.0 port. Audio output is managed via a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a single loudspeaker. The Leagoo S8 supports dual SIM functionality, allowing the use of two nano-SIM cards simultaneously.
