The LG K51S is an upgraded version of the LG K41S, featuring several enhancements primarily in the camera and processor. It retains the 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) IPS LCD display but replaces the notch design of the K41S with a punch-hole cutout for the front camera.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) octa-core processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz,paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
On the rear, the K51S has a quad-camera setup. The primary sensor is a 32-megapixel camera, supported by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is a 13-megapixel sensor located within the punch-hole display.
The phone includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security. It is equipped with a 4000mAh battery that charges through a USB Type-C port. The device’s build meets IP68 water and dust resistance standards and complies with MIL-STD 810G military durability requirements.
The LG K51S runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.Additional sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass. Connectivity options cover Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
