The Nokia 4.2 shares many design elements with the Nokia 3.2, though it is more compact in size. Unlike the Nokia 3.2, which has a single rear camera and a quad-core processor, the Nokia 4.2 features a dual rear camera setup and an octa-core CPU.
The device is equipped with a 5.71-inch HD+ display, offering a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The screen includes a notch that houses the front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Nokia 4.2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, paired with an Adreno 505 GPU. It comes in two configurations: 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage, or 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card.
The rear camera system consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, accompanied by a single LED flash. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor located within the display notch. For security, the device includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports facial recognition, as well as standard Android authentication methods such as PIN and pattern unlock.
The Nokia 4.2 is powered by a 3000mAh battery, which is smaller than the 4000mAh battery found in the nokia 3.4. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The phone supports dual SIM functionality and 4G LTE connectivity. Additional specifications and features are provided in the accompanying table.
