The Nokia 5.3 succeeds the Nokia 5.1 released in 2019, featuring several hardware improvements.It has a 6.55-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a waterdrop notch housing the front camera.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.It comes with 64GB of internal storage and offers RAM options of 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card.
On the rear, the Nokia 5.3 includes a quad-camera setup arranged in a circular module. This consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor located within the notch, supporting AI-based portrait mode, face beautification, and facial recognition.
The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. It supports either a single Nano-SIM or dual nano-SIM configuration, with 4G LTE connectivity available on both SIM slots. The device is equipped with a 4000mAh battery and charges via USB Type-C at 10W. It runs on Android 10 out of the box.
