The Nokia 5.4 succeeds the Nokia 5.3, which was released in March 2020. This model features a larger 48-megapixel primary camera, an improved front-facing camera, and a more compact design. It has a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a waterdrop notch.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 662 processor with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. It is indeed available with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 64GB or 128GB, expandable via microSD card.
The rear camera setup consists of four sensors arranged in a circular module. The main sensor is a 48-megapixel shooter, replacing the 13-megapixel sensor found on the Nokia 5.3. The other three cameras include a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front camera is a single 16-megapixel sensor located in the display notch.
Security features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone supports either single or dual Nano-SIM cards, both capable of 4G LTE connectivity. It is equipped with a 4000mAh battery that supports 10W charging through a USB Type-C port. The nokia 5.4 runs on Android 10 out of the box, with expected updates to newer versions.
