Teh Nokia 7.2, released by HMD Global in September 2019, runs on the android One platform. It features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen includes a waterdrop notch housing the front camera. The device does not have an in-display fingerprint sensor; instead, it uses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz, paired with the Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 64 GB or 128 GB. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card. The Nokia 7.2 supports dual SIM functionality with 4G LTE and VoLTE on both SIM slots.
The rear camera setup consists of three sensors arranged in a circular module. The primary sensor is a 48-megapixel camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.8 aperture. It is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view and a 5-megapixel depth sensor for portrait effects. The front camera is a 20-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, with updates available through the Android One program. It is powered by a 3500 mAh battery that supports 10W charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass.
