Nokia 8 Technical Overview
Teh Nokia 8 features a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of approximately 554 pixels per inch. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, an octa-core chipset with four cores clocked at 2.45 GHz and four cores at 1.9 GHz. The device includes the Adreno 540 GPU for graphics processing.
Memory configurations include 4 GB or 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, paired with 64 GB or 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot supporting up to 256 GB. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, with updates available for later Android versions.
The Nokia 8 is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of two 13-megapixel sensors. One sensor captures color images,while the other is a monochrome sensor to enhance detail and contrast. Both rear cameras have an f/2.0 aperture and support phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual-LED dual-tone flash. The front-facing camera is a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
Battery capacity is 3,090 mAh,supporting Qualcomm Fast Charge 3.0 via USB Type-C. The device includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and barometer. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and BDS support.
