The OnePlus 8 Pro is the premium model compared to the standard OnePlus 8. Its display measures 6.78 inches,using a Fluid AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate,which is higher than the 90Hz on the base model. The screen supports HDR10+ and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, an octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.84 GHz, paired with the Adreno 650 GPU. Memory configurations include 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and storage options are 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage, without microSD card expansion.

The rear camera setup consists of four sensors.The primary camera is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor with an f/1.78 aperture, featuring omnidirectional phase detection autofocus (PDAF), laser autofocus, and optical image stabilization (OIS). The secondary camera is a 48-megapixel ultra-wide Sony IMX586 sensor with a 120-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. The third sensor is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.44 aperture and 3x optical zoom. The fourth is a 5-megapixel color filter camera used for depth sensing. The front-facing camera is 16 megapixels with an f/2.45 aperture and supports HDR.

The OnePlus 8 Pro includes a 4510 mAh battery supporting 30W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging, along with 3W reverse wireless charging. It has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and supports dual Nano-SIM cards with 5G and 4G LTE connectivity. The phone runs on Android 10 with oxygenos 10.
