The Oppo Reno 3 Youth is a variant within the Reno3 series from OPPO Mobile. It differs from the standard Reno 3 model primarily in three areas. First, it uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of the MediaTek chipset found in the standard version. Second, the main rear camera sensor is 48 megapixels, compared to the 64-megapixel sensor on the regular Reno 3. Third, it supports Bluetooth 5.1, a newer version than that on the standard model. Other specifications remain largely unchanged.
The device features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.4 GHz, paired with the Adreno 620 GPU. The phone comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which is not expandable via microSD.
The rear camera setup includes four sensors: a 48 MP primary wide-angle lens with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.8 aperture,an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and two 2 MP auxiliary sensors for depth and macro functions. The front-facing camera is a 32 MP sensor housed in a waterdrop notch.
For security, the Reno 3 Youth has an in-display fingerprint scanner and supports AI Face Unlock. It accommodates dual Nano-SIM cards with 4G and 5G connectivity on both slots. The device is equipped with a 4025 mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging. It runs on android 10 with ColorOS 7 as the user interface.
