Realme 2 is a midrange smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. It succeeds the Realme 1, maintaining a similar diamond-cut design. The device features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and a notch resembling that of the Apple iPhone X. The screen has an 19:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The phone is equipped with an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz and an Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and offers 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The operating system is Android 8.1 Oreo with Realme’s custom ColorOS 5.1 skin.
For photography, the realme 2 has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. the rear cameras are supported by an LEAD flash. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The front display can also provide soft light for low-light selfies.
Security features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI-based face unlock. The device supports dual Nano-SIM cards with 4G LTE connectivity on both slots. It is powered by a 4230mAh non-removable battery and supports standard charging. Additional sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, and ambient light sensor.
